Create your first workflow

Build Receive → Check details → Complete. Add detail to the middle step, return to the overview, then check saving and sharing.

Before you start

Sign in and open the dashboard. Use a new practice diagram, leaving your existing work intact. To try public sharing, use content that is safe to publish and check the plan and permissions shown in the app.

Steps

  1. Open a practice diagram

    Create a new diagram from the dashboard. If prompted to choose how to start, choose the blank option. Open Table in the editor.

  2. Enter three steps

    Use the first-step button or Add Step to create rows. Edit Content so you have Receive, Check details, and Complete. Remove any unwanted starter rows only in this practice diagram.

  3. Connect the steps

    Open the Next Step cell for Receive, choose Check details as its target, and save. Connect Check details to Complete in the same way. Check that the arrows follow this order.

  4. Add detail to Check details

    In the Details column for Check details, use the create-detail control. Add Check input and Check for missing information in the table that opens.

  5. Return to the overview

    Choose the parent level in the breadcrumb to return to the overview. Check that your three steps are visible and that you can reopen the details of Check details.

  6. Save to the cloud

    Choose File → Cloud Save and confirm completion. Check diagram save status separately from Save in Connection Settings. Do not close the page while it is unsaved or showing an error.

  7. Reopen the saved diagram

    After saving, reopen the same diagram from the dashboard. If Receive, Check details, Complete, and the detail flow remain, the basic practice is complete.

  8. Share if needed

    To try optional sharing, choose Share → Public Link.... Check that the content is suitable for publishing, copy the link, and inspect the recipient view. You can also finish without publishing, or export a file.

Check your result

You can move between the overview and its detail flow, and reopen your saved diagram from the dashboard. If you shared it, check that the recipient view works too.

If something goes wrong

If the table is hidden, use the editor's table icon. If the arrows are wrong, check Next Step. If sharing is unavailable, check cloud saving, permissions, and the plan message, or use an available export format.

Common questions

My diagram looks different from the screenshot

Layout varies with panel sizes and zoom. Check step names, arrow order, and parent-child relationships. Enlarge images to inspect small controls.

Do I have to publish my diagram?

The tutorial is complete once you can save and reopen it. Sharing is optional; keep private diagrams private.
